French Onion Soup with Mozzarella Toast @ Anniversary Delectable Dishes

 3 周年纪念@爱心佳肴 3

法式洋葱香汤意式(莫泽雷勒)干酪烤面包
 French Onion Soup with Mozzarella Toast


   食谱@RECIPE
400g onion, peeled, halved and sliced / 3 tablespoon Olive Oil / 1 litre chicken stock / salt and pepper to taste

1/2 baguette / 200g Mozzarella cheese, grated / freshly-ground black peeper

   To prepare onion soup - Olive oil over low heat and cook onion until golden brown in colour, stirring occasionally. Add the chicken stock and bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

   To make croutons - Slice the baguette 2cm thick and bake in the oven at 150C until golden brown and completely dry.

   To finish - Preheat oven to 200C. Ladle soup into an ovenproof dish. Place two or three slices of baguette in the dish and top with cheese. Place in the top rack of the oven and grantinate until top is golden brown and cheese is melted. Sprinkle with freshly-ground black pepper and serve hot. 

   以上是我与蜜糖周年纪念日的甜蜜佳肴,她一早起身准备并煮烹,只为了弄一餐丰富的爱心佳肴于我们的特别日子。这么一个美好的佳肴回忆,我也抄下此佳肴食谱予大家分享,希望您们也可亲自下厨为另一半煮出一餐美味的爱心佳肴。

   除了以洋葱汤和烤面包作为前菜,当然我的另一半也为我弄了份以鱼为主题的主菜。她的厨艺真好,无论主菜的色香味,都是水准之作。

   两道主菜各用了不同的鱼肉,但煮法是一样。意式汤饭@Risotto是用一种肥短的米@Arborio Rice煮成,这才有意式汤饭的风味。意式香料酱@Pesto Sauce是用香草,大蒜,橄榄油和其他香料所作成的绿色调味汁。

   享受完如此美味赏心的佳肴后,心里头飘荡着幸福甜蜜的云朵,好久都不能消散。谢谢她所做的一切,感恩她的付出!
